This is a helpful article due to the significant ground it covers outlining food choices and how they affect your body image, mood, attitude toward self and those of others reflected back to you. Body image is a pivotal aspect of love and how it is enacted on the physical as well as the spiritual levels of consciousness. Food choices reflect many aspects of character, values, and goals. Anyone who has been through unpleasant experiences associated with food while growing up may relate to this problem that can persist throughout life. Often, when asked, the person cannot explain why a specific food avoidance is so prominent in their dietary choices. It just is! I recall a neighborhood girl who was forced to eat white bread, lard, and catsup every day because it was all the family could afford. To this day, the word "lard" conjurs up all sorts of images from days long ago. See if this article stimulates your memory. Ask yourself what decisions were attached to those images. For some, it may show where a person got "stuck" in a really monotonous groove. Personally, I like to munch all the food groups. I'm totally not into boring.
