Spirituality Is Congruent with Science

Here is an article that I found interesting because of the differences in opinion on what constitutes
religion and spirituality and the scientific point of view on the topic.

"An interesting study conducted by experts at the Rice University reveals that a large number of scientists believe that science and spirituality can go hand in hand in boosting scientific discovery. At the same time, religion was not found to have the same potential."

“This challenges the idea that scientists, and other groups we typically deem as secular, are devoid of those big 'Why am I here?' questions. They too have these basic human questions and a desire to find meaning,”

According to the author of this article scientists are "seeking a core sense of truth through spirituality" that is consistent with the work that they do. It is an fascinating topic that has long been debated among secular and religious thinkers.
