When I was in my 40s, I connected with a Tahumara Indian Shaman, named Marta Talavera, who gifted me with life long friendship. Marta taught me another level of faith healing in her role as a spiritual massage therapist. Those spiritual healing sessions were amazing and transformational. When Marta reads this, after I post it to her Facebook page, she will know how deeply I am grateful to her. Coupled with the work I also did with the late Shaman Grandpa Roberts, at Harbin Hot Springs, California, the meaning of faith healing was forever altered in my consciousness. Here is another viewpoint on this fascinating topic.

- "Miraculous recoveries have been attributed to a myriad of techniques commonly lumped together as "faith healing in the name of a greater power.” But what is this spiritual side of healing touch--a side that some claim as miraculous, yet that is controversial among many?"
"While most Western scientists will tell you faith healing is no substitute for medication or surgery, the belief that prayer, faith or divine intervention of a healer can actually cure illness has been known since the beginning of recorded history."
For me, one powerful lesson learned through research, to which I devoted 45 years to advance soul and spiritual maturation, became crystal clear: The pathways to the same goal are without limits.
The power of touch is one pathway of pure magic. Some may not sense the "touch" of Spirit, but it is there, nonetheless.
