This article is a well written introduction to  Pastor Ted N.C. Wilson, the new president of the 16.5 million members globally of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.  His philosophy and goals are laid out in very inspiring tones.  I found myself uplifted after reading his thoughtful and deep opinion on the frightening topic of Armageddon and the times we are living.  It is a must read for everyone, no matter what religious, philosophical or spiritual orientation, this affects the survival of all of us.

The world is preparing for an interesting battle. I don’t think that Armageddon should be interpreted literally. I don’t think that there will be another world war involving the whole universe. I would not like to see that. I don’t think that it will be a physical war. It is rather a spiritual revolution that is winning the hearts of humanity. The specter of the Armageddon, such as the one in the film 2012, looms over us threatening oblivion.  It's a topic that boggles the mind, and we all avoid it.  Yet, here we are faced with the facts all around us.  Thus, it is wonderful to gain the perspective of a well educated, spiritual being.  Pastor Wilson has offered deep advice here that wise  people take to heart.  This is just a sampling on the topics addressed in such an inspiring commentary.
